Work smarter. Grow faster. Feel less alone.

Being a Psych NP shouldn’t mean being

“the only one” in the room.

But it often does.

If you’ve been practicing for more than five minutes, you’ve probably noticed…

You’re expected to “just know” things nobody actually taught you

Reddit threads and Facebook groups feel like the Wild West

“Mentorship” is often nonexistent, over-priced, or condescending.

You’re piecing together answers from psychiatrists, therapists, and random clinicians who don’t get your role

And even though you love this field… You also feel weirdly isolated inside it

You’re not imagining it.

And you’re definitely not the only one.

welcome to the network

Hi! I’m Rachel

When I became a Psych NP in 2020, there were very few spaces for real peer support. I nearly left the field — not because I didn’t care about the work, but because I was isolated.

I even moved across the country for a lower-paying fellowship, simply to be in community with other Psych NPs. It was the first time I felt grounded again.

In 2024, I started The Psych NP Network, first as a book club, then as a consultation space — and we have been meeting weekly ever since!

The inspiring Psych NPs I have had the privilege of meeting in this community gave me the confidence to make big, scary decisions — starting my own private practice, leaving corporate pediatric psychiatry, and eventually offering mentorship in pediatric psychiatry. Over time, I’ve watched this community do the same for others to take thoughtful risks, build aligned careers, and trust their own instincts.

Being in this together changes what feels possible.

You’ll find the details below — how we meet, what we talk about, and how the Network actually works week to week. ↓

Your home for support, education, and connection.

Inside the Network, you’ll get the support system, clarity, and community that every Psych NP deserves, whether you’re brand new, in private practice, or rethinking how you want to practice after years in the field.

This isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing work that actually fits.

This is the professional support system you were supposed to get…but probably didn’t.

We meet live every Friday afternoon at 1pm EST

  • Kids Case Consultation
Bring pediatric cases — or just listen — as we think through nuance, development, family dynamics, and real-world constraints.

  • Adult Case Consultation
Collaborative discussion of complex adult cases: treatment resistance, diagnostic uncertainty, meds, relationships, and next steps.

  • Process Group
A confidential space to process the emotional weight of this work with other Psych NPs.
(This group is intentionally not recorded.)

  • CEO Club
For practice owners and builders: pricing, systems, boundaries, burnout, and the messy middle of running a business.

Between meetings, members connect inside the community through:

  • Peer Support

  • Resource Sharing

  • Book Club

  • Creator Club

  • Student & New Grad space

  • Regional groups (Midwest, West, Southwest, Southeast, Northeast)

Community Spaces

The Psych NP Network exists because careers aren’t built in isolation.

We learn what’s possible by seeing how other people do this work —

in different states, settings, seasons of life, and personalities.

This is a peer-based space to compare notes, ask honest questions,

and design a career that works for you.
